UFC betting has Randy Couture heavily favored in UFC 109 as he takes on Mark Coleman.
These two MMA veterans highlight an 11 fight card in UFC odds for UFC 109: Relentless from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, February 6th.
UFC betting should be interesting on Couture vs. Coleman although it may not be competitive. Couture is about a 5-1 favorite in UFC odds against Coleman. Couture is a five-time UFC champion who still attracts a lot of attention while Coleman is known for his wrestling ability. Couture is coming off a UFC betting win over Brandon Vera at UFC 105. Couture has 14 UFC betting wins in his career over top fighters like Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Vitor Belfort and others. Couture is excited to be matched up against Coleman in UFC betting for UFC 109. “Mark Coleman is another classic matchup for me,” said Couture. “Like (Antonio Rodrigo) Nogueira, this is a fight that was supposed to happen a long time ago and is finally now a reality. Mark has a tremendous wrestling pedigree, and his collegiate and freestyle background has taken him a long way in MMA. He was fighting in Japan for the most part until last year when he came back to battle Mauricio Rua and Stephan Bonnar in UFC betting.
The main pay-per-view card in UFC betting for UFC 109 has five fights including the bout between Couture and Coleman. UFC odds have Nate Marquardt vs. Chael Sonnen, Mike Swick vs. Paulo Thiago, Matt Serra vs. Frank Trigg and Dan Miller vs. Demian Maia. Marquardt is favored by about 3-1 in UFC betting odds against Sonnen while Maia is about a 3-1 UFC betting favorite against Miller. Serra is a slight favorite in UFC betting in his bout against Trigg.
There are six fights on the preliminary card in UFC betting. The bouts between Justin Buchholz vs. Mac Danzig and Melvin Guillard vs. Ronnys Torres will be shown live on Spike TV.
