Minotauro Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez Headlines UFC 110 Betting

March 15th, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC 110 betting features Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira battling Cain Velasquez on Sunday from Sydney, Australia.

The UFC 110 odds are a pick on this fight so it should be a good one.  The bout is one of ten in UFC 110 betting.

UFC 110 betting had Nogueira coming into this bout at 32-5-1.  He has really not done much lately though. He won his debut back at UFC 73 and then won against Tim Sylvia at UFC 81. He lost in UFC 92 but came back to win in UFC 102 over Randy Couture.  Nogueira is going to look to use his striking skills to take out Velasquez in this fight. The winner of this bout could easily end up as the top contender in the heavyweight division.  The winner will probably battle the winner of Frank Mir and Shane Carwin who are fighting at UFC 111.  The winner would then take on current champion, Brock Lesnar in the summer.

Nogueira has a lot of respect for Velasquez and believes the UFC 110 betting bout will be a good one. “He has endurance. He can fight everywhere. He can stand up. Wherever the fight goes, he knows he can fight.” Nogueira said about Velasquez, “He pushes the fight a lot and so do I. That will make the fight very exciting. We are not as big as some heavyweights, but we can move. That is the difference between us and some of the other heavies.” Nogueira is ready for Velasquez and the heavyweight title. “Me and Cain are in good position to fight for the interim belt right now.” Nogueira said, “I could see five guys fighting for the title right now. A lot of interesting fights can happen.”

Velasquez is 7-0 in his career.  He has relied upon his wrestling skills to win so far and some people wonder whether he can handle a striker like Nogueira in UFC 110 odds. “It’s a great thing right now to see young guys climb in with guys who have been in this sport forever and are legends. It’s a great opportunity.” Velsquez said.

Also on the main card in UFC 110 betting is a lightweight bout between Joe Stevenson and George Sotiropoulos, a middleweight fight between Wanderlei Silva and Michael Bisping, a light heavyweight fight in UFC 110 betting between Keith Jardine and Ryan Bader and a heavyweight bout in UFC 110 odds between Mirko Filipovic and Ben Rothwell.

The UFC 110 betting preliminary card has Chris Haseman fighting Elvis Sinosic, Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Stephan Bonnar, Chris Lytle vs. Brian Foster, C.B. Dollaway vs. Goran Reljic and Igor Pokrajac vs. James Te-Huna in UFC 110 odds.
