Two North Carolina Starters Injured Sportsbook Online

Sportsbook online odds will see North Carolina playing on Saturday without two of their starters. #24 North Carolina hosts East Carolina on Saturday and the Tar Heels are favored in college football betting at the offshore sportsbook.

Sportsbook online notes that the Tar Heels will be without center Lowell Dyer and tight end Zach Pianalto.   Dyer didn’t play last week in the sportsbook online win over Connecticut as he hurt his shoulder in practice.  He has started 16 games in his career and will be missed on the offensive line.  The team was also missing Jonathan Cooper on the offensive line as well last week as offshore sportsbook indicated.

Pianalto was having a great game against Connecticut but then got hurt after scoring a touchdown.  The sad part is that he got hurt while celebrating.  He dislocated the joint in his right foot. Pianalto had career highs in receptions and receiving yards against the Huskies as sportsbook online notes. It was a totally freak injury as Pianalto had just scored the game-tying touchdown and then jumped up to celebrate and came down wrong on his ankle.

North Carolina has had a lot of injuries this season and it could impact their sportsbook online odds at the offshore sportsbook.  The Tar Heels were fortunate last week to get by Connecticut.  North Carolina is a 7.5 point college football betting favorite in sportsbook online at the offshore sportsbook in their home game against East Carolina on Saturday.

The North Carolina offensive line is a huge concern for North Carolina in sportsbook online. Sports betting indicated that in August the team lost offensive tackle Carl Gaskins to a torn ACL.  They lost Aaron Stahl to graduation and reserve Kevin Bryant didn’t return. “We’ve lost a significant amount of offensive linemen over the last seven or eight months,” head coach Butch Davis said. “It was a setback certainly to lose a fifth-year senior starting center in Lowell Dyer. Cam Holland came in and did a very good job for his first opportunity to get a chance to start a ballgame. We’re very, very young in the offensive line. As guys get more game experience and more playing experience, our expectations are they will continue to improve.”

North Carolina is considered a contender in the ACC this season and they are now ranked in the Top 25 in the country.  Sports betting should be interesting on the Tar Heels as the season continues.
