The offense gained some 500 yards while the Packers gained a total of 140 yards, and the defense overcame QB Rodgers as he had 1 of his worst games if his career in that Sunday loss.

The Broncos QB P. Manning had a good game as he displayed to fans why he has been a MVP on 5 occasions as he completed 21 or his 29 passing attempts that went for some 342 yards but was unable to connect directly for a TD in the game. That was not really needed in this game as their duo of RB’s with C.J. Anderson and R. Hillman had a combined 162 yards rushing and 3 TD’s in the game providing points for the win. Their passing game was decent for a change as their receiver D. Thomas had 8 receptions for 168 yards and leads the team with 696 reception yards to date. The Broncos in this game seek to continue their winning streak, since the Colts have struggled defending against the receivers on the outside, as they have allowed opponents some 286 yards passing to date which is 3rd most in the NFL this season.

The Broncos are seeking another good game from WR Thomas who has averaged 17.4 yards on each catch and in his 3 career games he has scored 3 TD’s. Also fans will be watching the Broncos recent acquired TE V. Davis coming from a trade with the 49’ers. In his 6 games to date he has 195 yards on 18 catches to date before this trade. If you’re a fan of the 3-5 Colts of Indianapolis then you know your team has struggled as they took their 3rd straight loss this past Monday night losing to the undefeated Panthers of Carolina in a close game 29-26. The Colts were in that game until the final ended, as they were intercepted on what was to be a game winning drive.

Indianapolis has dropped to 3-5 but still remain tied for the lead in the AFC South with the Texans of Houston. This week the Colts hope to end their losing streak win a win in this Week 9. But that will be easier said in done as they face the undefeated well balance Broncos of Denver on Sunday.

For the Colts to have a chance to upset the Broncos in this game, it will depend a lot on F. Gore and T. Hilton to successfully challenge the stingy defense of the Broncos which presently ranks 1st in the NFL as they have only allowed opponents to 262 yards each game to date.

Their RB Gore at 32 years of age leads the team with 3 TD’s and 448 yard rushing this season and has averaged some and has average 538 yards per carries with 3 TD’s, while WR Hilton is the prime receiver for the Colts and is averaging 16.8 yards on each reception and that ranks 8th in the NFL. The Colts in their ultimate 10 home games have 6 wins and 4 losses straight up.
