Cleveland Cavaliers at Miami NBA Betting

NBA betting on Monday features LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Miami to face Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat.

This is the second of three meetings between the teams this season.  The Cavaliers won their earlier match-up this season by a score of 111-104 in basketball betting.

NBA betting has the Heat winning 27 of the 39 all-time meetings in Miami against the Cavaliers even with that loss earlier this season.  The teams have split the last four meetings in Miami. The Cavaliers are on a three-game winning streak against the Heat although each of the wins has been by 10 points or less.

Monday has been a very good day for the Cavaliers.  They are 36-15-1 vs. the basketball betting odds in their last 52 Monday games.   The Cavaliers started well this season on the road but in their last six road games they are just 1-4-1 in NBA betting. The Cavaliers are 5-2 vs. the NBA betting odds in the last 7 meetings in Miami.

Miami has been very good against the Central Division lately as they are 6-1 in NBA betting in their last 7 games.  They have been solid at home going 5-2 vs. the basketball betting line in their last 7 home games.  Miami has not played well on Monday’s going 4-11 in NBA betting in their last 15 Monday games.

Cleveland has gone over the NBA betting total in five of their last seven games. Miami has gone under in four of their last five games.  In this series, the last four meetings in Miami have gone over the basketball betting total.

Cleveland comes into this game having won four straight and six of their last seven.  LeBron has been carrying the Cavaliers recently as his scoring average is up to almost 30 points per game.  He is going to need to carry the load since guards Mo Williams and Delonte West are injured.

Miami has won their last two games but wins against Washington and Sacramento don’t tell you much. When the Heat have stepped up in competition this season they have not done well.  They will need a big game out of Wade and some supporting players like Michael Beasley and Quentin Richardson to step up.  Miami has a losing record against the pointspread at home this season at 11-12 but they have won and covered their last two home games.
