Online Wagering Fans Prepare For the NBA Draft

December 10th, 2021 Online Wagering

Now that the Los Angeles Lakers have been crowned the 2010 NBA online wagering champions the season has finally drawn to a close. With no more NBA betting games on the schedule for another four or five months there’s not really much left for basketball betting fans to mull over until the preseason starts.  But, actually, there is one more major NBA event that wagering companies have been hyping up and that’s the 2010 NBA Draft

This year, as with every year, the winner of the NBA draft lottery has a real chance to change the face of its franchise in the online wagering competition for the next decade or so.  Almost every NBA champion has transformed itself into a online wagering sensation through the draft.  In basketball, where there are only five players on the court, a single individual player is often all it takes to put a team over the top and make then the most desired team in the  wagering companies’ NBA odds.

This year the Washington Wizards won the NBA lottery contest and as a result will pick first in the upcoming NBA draft.  The Wizards had a bit of a turbulent online wagering season. In mid-season all star Gilbert Arenas was suspended and sentenced to serve jail time for getting into a confrontation with a teammate that involved handguns.  The team then traded off its only pieces of value, Caron Butler and Antoine Jamison.  For all intents and purposes this is one of the worst franchises in the NBA online betting so it’s fitting that it will be selecting first in the 2010 NBA draft.

Most online wagering sites list odds for most of the top players entering the NBA draft and aside from rapidly improving the teams that select lottery players, the NBA draft can also be a great online wagering opportunity.  And it’s just about the only NBA betting action going on for the next few months.

So if you enjoy NBA betting and online wagering why not check out the betting odds listed for the upcoming NBA draft and the top players waiting to embark on their NBA career?
