Online Gambling – Young Stud Pitchers Decide NL Wild Card Race

December 21st, 2021 Online Gambling

Young pitchers like Mat Latos and Madison Bumgarner may not be household names in baseball online gambling but they might end up deciding who makes the playoffs in the NL. Latos is having a superb year for San Diego while Bumgarner is a key pitcher for San Francisco. They are just two of the young pitchers who will make a major difference vs. the baseball odds at Internet gambling companies down the stretch.

Online gambling odds at SBG don’t always favor the young pitchers because they don’t have a big reputation.  Perhaps they should though.  Latos has been as good as any pitcher in the league. When he is on the mound for the Padres you can get ready to cash a ticket.  Bumgarner is not well known but he has been good for bettors as well.

More Youngsters:  The Reds just recently moved Mike Leake to the bullpen but they still have Travis Wood in the rotation.  St. Louis has a young stud pitcher in Jaime Garcia.  Just how well can these young pitchers do down the stretch?  Latos is now the ace of the Padres pitching staff.

He is 13-5 this season with a 2.33 ERA.  He is already past a career high in innings pitched so the Padres may be cautious with him down the stretch. The Reds are resting Mike Leake by moving him to the bullpen.  The Cardinals really can’t afford to rest Garcia as they need him to win games.

Latos:  He probably won’t win the Cy Young award but Latos has been great for the Padres. And he is not slowing down at all. In his last three starts he is 2-1 with a 1.42 ERA.  The Padres are going to give him some extra rest down the stretch so he is ready for the playoffs.

Latos wants to pitch as much as possible but the Padres are being careful.  When Latos is on the mound you want to be betting on the Padres at Internet gambling companies.

Garcia: He is 10-6 with a 2.58 ERA for the Cardinals. The wear and tear could be starting to show. In his last three outings he is 1-2 with a 4.41 ERA. The Cardinals may have to watch him closely in the next few weeks.

Wood & Bumgarner:  Wood is still rolling along for the Reds.  In his last three starts he is 3-0 with a 2.45 ERA. Bumgarner is 4-4 with a 3.27 ERA this season.  He is 0-1 though in his last three starts with a 4.96 ERA.
