Online Gambling – Ohio State Now #1 in Polls, Alabama Falls to #8

December 21st, 2021 Online Gambling

When you look at the online gambling odds this week you will notice a new number one team in college football. Ohio State is now #1 in the polls while former number one Alabama has fallen to #8.  The Crimson Tide’s 19-game winning streak ended at South Carolina this past Saturday.  The Buckeyes have their toughest game so far this season at Wisconsin on Saturday but they are still favored at Internet gambling companies.

The Buckeyes will need to win this week to stay at #1 in the polls. Oregon is right behind them at #2 and the Ducks don’t play this week so they are not going to drop in the rankings.  Ohio State got 34 first place votes in the AP poll while Oregon got 15.  Boise State received eight first place votes with TCU and Oklahoma also receiving votes.

Boise State Moves Up – Boise State has moved up to #3 in the AP Poll and the BCS poll which is due out next week is likely going to have them at #1.  The Broncos will probably drop in that poll since their remaining schedule is weak but right now the Broncos are in position to play for the national title.

TCU and Nebraska round out the Top five this week.  Oklahoma is ranked number six while Auburn is seventh. Alabama dropped to number eight with LSU at number nine and South Carolina at #10.  The win by South Carolina against #1 Alabama in online gambling odds at SBG was their first-ever win against a top-ranked team.

13 Teams Still Unbeaten – There are eight unbeaten teams ranked in the Top 10 while five more are ranked just outside the top ten.  Number 11 Utah is still unbeaten as is Arkansas at #12 and Michigan State at #13. Stanford and Iowa complete the Top 15.  Florida State is up to #16 while Arizona is 17th.  Wisconsin is 18th and they are followed by Nevada, Oklahoma State and Missouri.  Florida is #22 and they are followed by Air Force, Oregon State and West Virginia.  While there are 13 teams that are still unbeaten there can’t be more than seven at the end of the season and there probably won’t be that many. The Big 12 will get down to just one as they play a title game.  Boise State and Nevada play so one of them will lose. TCU plays Utah so that will take care of another unbeaten.  Auburn and LSU meet in a couple of weeks in football odds at Internet gambling companies to take care of another one.
