Internet Gambling Companies Watching Miami’s Moves

January 19th, 2022 Online Gambling

The team to watch next season in NBA odds at Internet gambling companies could be the Miami Heat. The free agent class in the NBA is headlined by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.  It is not out of the realm of possibility in online gambling that all three could be playing in Miami next season.

Internet gambling companies would really have to favor the Heat if they had James, Wade and Bosh.  Miami continues to clear up salary cap space as they try and find a way to sign all three players. Wade is already with Miami but he going to opt out of his contract.  He would be happy to re-sign with the Heat if Miami is able to bring in LeBron or Bosh.  It is even possible they could bring in both players.

The key player in the equation is LeBron and he has not given any indication of where he is going to go.  It is still possible he stays in Cleveland.  The New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets and Los Angeles Clippers are going to make a run at him and the Chicago Bulls are rumored to be in the mix as well. Miami has a number of advantages on all of those teams, not the least of which is Wade. If he re-signs then Miami would be an instant contender with either James or Bosh. If they get all three players they would become the favorites to win the NBA title. Miami has great weather, a GM in Pat Riley that knows how to win and enough money to pay all three superstars. Riley might even decide to coach this team if all three players sign in Miami.

Would a team with three superstar players actually win vs. NBA odds?  It is an interesting thought but teams full of superstars don’t always perform up to expectations. There would be no question though that the Heat would get a lot of online gambling attention and that they would be immediately overvalued vs. NBA odds.  They would instantly become like the Los Angeles Lakers.  The Lakers win a lot of games straight up but they don’t always cover the point spread.  A similar thing would happen if James, Wade and Bosh end up together in Miami.
