NBA Season Opener Features Heat at Celtics in Internet Betting

The NBA season will begin on October 26th with an excellent Internet betting matchup as the Miami Heat and their big three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh go into Boston to face the Celtics and their trio of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.

It is a great opening game for the NBA and one that should attract a lot of online betting action since it will be televised on TNT. Internet betting odds on Miami have changed greatly in the off-season since the Heat added James and Bosh to go along with Wade.  The opener for Miami at Boston should be a good one as the Celtics are the defending Eastern Conference champs. Last season it was Boston who eliminated Miami in the playoffs. The Celtics also handed LeBron a loss in his final game with the Cleveland Cavaliers as the Celtics eliminated Cleveland last season in the playoffs. Miami will play their first home game of the season three nights later as they host the Orlando Magic in a game that will be televised on ESPN.

Miami is going to get the spotlight a lot this season in online betting NBA odds.  They get the opening night game on TNT and they will also be playing in another highlighted game on Christmas Day as they face the Los Angeles Lakers in a game televised on ABC.  The Heat is expected to play in 34 nationally televised games which is the maximum the league allows. Miami will also have some other high interest games as they will go to Cleveland for what should be a highly emotional environment for Cleveland fans when LeBron returns. They will also go to Toronto and that will get attention since it will be Chris Bosh’s return to the city.

The opening night of the NBA season normally features two televised games on TNT.  That will be the case again this season in Internet betting with the early game featuring the Heat and Celtics while the late game will focus on the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Lakers.  It is a great way to open up the NBA season with three of the four top teams in the NBA being featured on TNT.
