Giants hottest team against the Baseball odds

February 23rd, 2022 Online Offshore Bookmaker

The hottest team vs. the baseball odds at the bookmaker in the month of July was the San Francisco Giants. They won 20 games in July and that was more than any other team in baseball.  SF are putting pressure on San Diego for the National League West lead and San Francisco might be a team capable of staying hot vs. Internet bookmaker odds.

Bookmaker odds are starting to favor SF on a regular basis.  A little caution might be advised though if you are going to bet San Francisco. The SF have a tough schedule in the month of August against some good teams. They will be facing Colorado, San Diego, Atlanta, St. Louis, Philadelphia and Cincinnati this month.

The Giants have one of the best pitching staffs in the league and that makes them a threat every single day vs. the baseball odds at the bookmaker.  The Giants have two-time National League Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum and he is followed in the rotation by Matt Cain, Barry Zito and Jonathan Sanchez.  Rookie Madison Bumgarne has been excellent as well so there is not a weak link in their starting five.

The concern for San Francisco is an offense that is very inconsistent. The Giants have gotten very little this season out of Pablo Sandoval and if it was not for Aubrey Huff they would be in serious trouble.  The Giants are just 17th in the league in runs scored per game.  They are second in the league in ERA though and pitching usually wins out over hitting in Major League Baseball.

The schedule for San Francisco will definitely test the Giants in the next few weeks. The Giants do have the pitching to thrive but winning on the road is never easy and San Francisco has a tough four game series in Atlanta coming up against the Braves. Following that series the Giants come home to take on the pathetic Chicago Cubs and then they have a huge series against the Padres.  Following that series they go on the road for a very tough six game road trip with games against St. Louis and Philadelphia.  The Giants have been above .500 on the road though so it is possible they will be a team to follow even as their schedule gets more difficult.
