Bookmaker – Pacquaio Dominates Margarito

March 2nd, 2022 Online Offshore Bookmaker

The best fighter in the world won easily for bettors at the bookmaker as Manny Pacquaio defeated Antonio Margarito on Saturday night in Dallas.

It was an exhibition of excellent as Pacquaio won every single round in a unanimous decision.  About the only thing that Margarito did was survive the 12 rounds.  Bettors that took him against the boxing odds at the bookie had no chance of winning.

Boxing Superstar
There is only one fighter worth watching in boxing and he is Manny Pacquaio.  Boxing has gone done in popularity with the MMA dominating the ratings and getting much more interest but boxing does have one thing going for them and his name is Manny Pacquiao.  He is now considered by many people to be one of the top ten fighters of all time.  He has now won a belt in eight different weight classes which is a record.

Complete Domination
The fight between Pacquaio and Margarito was so one-sided that Pacquaio actually asked referee Laurence Cole to stop the fight in the 11th round because Margartio was getting pummeled.  The referee never did stop the fight and Margarito at least deserves some credit for gutting it out.  Some scorecards had the fight as a complete shutout with Pacquaio winning every round. The official judging had one scorecard with Pacquaio winning 120-108 while the other two had it 119-109 and 118-110.  What those last two judges were watching is unknown because anyone that was actually watching the fight knows that Pacquiao won every single round.  It is just an example of how poor the judges are in boxing.  How can a judge have Margarito winning even a single round in that fight?  The punch stats had 474 punches for Pacquaio and 229 for Margarito. Even Margarito’s trainer Robert Garcia admitted that Pacquaio is the best fighter in the world.

Pacquiao was a 5-1 favorite at the bookmaker and deservedly so.  Anyone that risked money on Margarito at the bookie simply threw it away.  Pacquaio earned a guaranteed $15 million for the win although it will be far more when his cut of television revenues is added in.  Pacquaio is the most popular boxer in the world and he delivered for all those that bet on him on Saturday night at SBG.
