Panthers shut down Bruins in April Fools

The Florida Panthers haven’t had all that much to cheer about this hockey betting season but on April Fool’s Day the team got a rare road win in their NHL betting matchup with host Boston Bruins.

The NHL wagering victory means little for the Cats as they’ve already been eliminated from the NHL wagering postseason hunt but it sure made the race for the hockey wagering playoffs a lot more interesting in the East.Florida (31-35-12) has struggled all season and when they were mathematically eliminated from the hockey betting playoff race with a loss last week it came as little surprise.  However, the team proved more than adept in the role of spoiler with a road win over the NHL betting playoff hopeful Bruins.

Through 78 hockey betting games the Bruins (36-30-12) have 84 points which currently puts them in 7th place in the East, just ahead of the 8th place Philadelphia Flyers.  The loss to the Panthers was a mighty hockey betting blow for the Bruins, but thus far, not a detrimental one.

The Panthers got to the nest early against Boston and the goal by Keith Ballard with 7:15 left in the first period proved to be the difference in this NHL betting matchup.  In fact, that would be the only time the puck entered the net for either team all night in this hockey betting competition.

Panther goalie, Scott Clemmensen was fantastic in the net and difference maker in the hockey betting result.  He recorded 36 saves and shut out in the sports betting triumph for the Panthers.  His Bruins counterpart in the net Tukka Rask, had an average game blocking 19 of 20 shots on goal but he got very little help from his offense in this NHL wagering loss. The Panthers offense hardly contributed in this hockey wagering battle either, but the early goal was enough to get the job done and hand the team an NHL wagering win.
