2007-2008 Marquette Golden Eagles College Basketball Lines

College basketball lines on the Marquette Golden Eagles at SBG Global this season should be pretty low as Coach Tom Crean returns seven starters from last year’s NCAA Tourney team.

The good news for fans of Marquette basketball lines is that All-Big East First Team guard Dominic James decided to return to school this year and not go to the NBA.

College basketball lines fans remember that James led the team in scoring with a 14.9 average and handed out 4.9 assists per game.  He is joined in the backcourt by Jerel McNeal, a 6-3 junior, who was named Big East Defensive Player of the Year. He averaged 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.6 steals for fans of Marquette college basketball lines. Junior Wesley Matthews is a great sixth man off the bench and impacts college basketball lines.  He averaged 12.6 points and 5.3 rebounds last year for fans of Marquette basketball lines.  Also in the backcourt is David Cubillan who averaged 5.5 points, and shot 42.5 percent from 3-point range for fans looking at Marquette college basketball lines.  Looking for playing time according to college basketball lines experts will be sophomore Maurice Acker, a 5-8 transfer from Ball State who was named the Mid-American Conference Rookie of the Year two seasons ago. Incoming frosh Scott Christopherson will also vie for playing time according to experts that bet college basketball lines.

Upfront the Golden Eagles return Dan Fitzgerald and Lazar Hayward for fans of college basketball lines. Fitzgerald, a 6-9 senior, averaged 7.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game as fans of Marquette basketball lines remember. Hayward averaged 6.6 points and 3.6 boards per game as fans of Marquette basketball lines may remember. Ousmane Barro is another solid player upfront for fans of Marquette college basketball lines.  He averaged 8.1 points and a team-high 6.9 rebounds per game. Dwight Burke and Lawrence Blackledge will backup the frontcourt players.

Marquette is a talented squad that will again make a mark on college basketball lines this season.  If James can ever shoot from the outside then Marquette might really make an impact on college basketball lines and be a major force.  As it is the Golden Eagles are still quite good and will be favored the majority of the time in college basketball lines at SBG Global this season.
