NBA Betting: Celtics vs. Heat

August 20th, 2020 NBA Basketball

NBA Betting: Celtics vs. Heat. The 2012-13 NBA regular season gets under way tonight with a triple header. While the first game features Washington and Cleveland beginning at 7:00 PM ET, most eyes outside of DC and the shores of Lake Erie will be focused on the other two.

In one of them, the Boston Celtics travel to South Beach in a rematch of last years Eastern Conference finals against the Miami Heat. Tip off in American Airlines Arena is at 8:05 PM ET and it will be broadcast nationally on TNT. If possible, you’ll want to catch the pregame an hour earlier, with Ernie, Kenny and Sir Charles, which will include the Heat’s 2011-12 Championship ring ceremony. King James will receive his first and Dwayne Wade his second ring.

The main story line in this one has to be Ray Allen suiting up for Miami to face his previous teammates for the first time. He, along with fellow newcomer Rashard Lewis, make the Heat an even more formidable opponent than last year, if that’s possible. Check the NBA  Odds for the Celtics vs. Heat Game.

The Celtics return with Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett intact, along with the addition of shooting guard Jason Terry from the Mavericks, and power forward Jeff Green back from heart surgery.

The Heat concluded last years shortened regular season in 2nd place of the Eastern Conference with an overall mark of 46-20. The Celtics were 39-27, good for 4th. Start your NBA Betting action on the Celtics vs. Heat Game.
