The sports betting odds favorites to win the 2017 U.S. Masters Tournament could also be condensed into the following group:

Guys with an actual offshore bookmaking chance of winning
Jason Day
Jordan Spieth
Rory McIlroy
Dustin Johnson
Ian Poulter

We could be generous and throw Tiger Woods into the mix too because, well, he’s Tiger freakin’ Woods and you never know when, where or how we could pull a John Travolta-level comeback.

The 2017 U.S. Masters Tournament is going to the 81st edition of the Tournament as well the first of professional golf’s four major championships scheduled for 2017. The Masters is set to take place during April 6th-9th and will be hosted, as usual, at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. As offshore bookmaking aficionados might remember, the 2016 Masters was won English Danny Willet, who scored 70 in the first round, 70-74=144 in the second round, 70-74-72=216 in the third round, and 70-74-72-67=283 in the final round to overcome Jordan Spieth and Lee Westwood who tied for second place. The fact that only Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo, and Woods have won back-to-back Masters might help to explain why Willett’s sports betting odds are not quite on par with those of Day or Spieth – or even Woods himself for that matter. That’s how offshore bookmaking works for y’all.
