Elimination Odds in World Cup Betting

There are eight teams with World Cup betting odds of 15-1 or less.

You can bet on each of these teams to win the World Cup and you can also bet on when each of these teams will be eliminated. There are World Cup odds on each of the eight favorites on when they will be out of the World Cup.

World Cup betting favors Spain and Brazil as the two teams most likely to win the World Cup.  The elimination odds on Spain actually favor them being eliminated in the round of 16.  Those odds are +250.  The next lowest odds are at +350 which have them winning the title.  If you think that Spain will lose in the quarterfinals you can get +375. They are +450 to finish as the runner-up, +475 to lose in the semifinals and +750 to not make it out of the group stage. The odds on Brazil are almost identical to those of Spain with only some minor tweaks.  They are +300 to go out in the round of 16, +375 to lose in the semifinals, +400 to lose in the quarterfinals, +435 to lose in the final, +450 to win  the title and +500 to not make it past the group stage.

England is the third choice in World Cup odds and their odds are a little higher.  They are +250 to lose in the round of 16, +345 to lose in the quarterfinals, +375 to lose in the semifinals, +550 to finish second, +575 to win it all and +650 to not make it out of the group stage. Argentina is the fourth choice overall. Argentina is +230 to lose in the round of 16, +235 to lose in the quarterfinals, +425 to lose in the semifinals, +475 to not make it out of the group stage, +600 to win it all and +800 to finish second. The Netherlands is +200 to lose in the quarterfinals, +225 to lose in the round of 16, +400 to not make it out of the group stage, +500 to lose in the semifinals, +800 to win it all and +950 to finish second.

Italy is the defending World Cup champions. They are +200 to lose in the round of 16, +235 to lose in the quarterfinals, +375 to lose in the semifinals, +675 to not make it out of the group stage, +950 to finish second and +1250 to win it all.   There are also elimination odds available on Germany and on France.
