After one race in this year’s Indy betting action there is a bit of surprise at the top of the driver standings, with the relatively unknown and aptly named Will Power leading all Indy betting drivers with 50 points after taking first in the Sao Paulo Indy 300 betting action.

However, the smart bet on Indy racing this weekend is on a handful of proven Indy betting veterans.  Brazilian Helio Castronueves has won this IRL wagering event twice and could make it a third this year.  But the wild card bet on Indy action could young gun Graham Rahal who won on this intriguing road course in 2008 and runs well on this racing lay out.  And of course.  And of course you can’t over look the proven veterans like Dan Wheldon, Dario Franchitti and Scott Dixon.
