October 15th, 2019 UFC Betting

Bet on UFC Fight Night 93: Arlovski vs. Barnett. Josh Barnett is the UFC gambling favorite to beat Andrei Arlovski when Fight Night 93 rolls around on Saturday, September 3rd at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany. The UFC betting odds for that heavyweight bout are the following:

Andrei Arlovski 1½ (-145) +120
Josh Barnett 1½ (+125) -140

Barnett – aka the Warmaster, aka the Babyfaced Assassin, aka the Philadelphia Jailbird, aka the Blue-eyed Kenshiro – has fought just about everywhere, including professional bet on ufc wrestling. Andrei ‘The Pitbull’ Arlovski has been around as well, and is the first man to ever knock out Roy Nelson and the second man ever to knock unconscious Travis Fulton. Let’s see how they compare in the proverbial tale of the tape.

Most recent fights:

Barnett – again, the UFC gambling favorite versus Arlovski – has won three of his last five fights. Most recently he submitted to a gogo choke by Ben Rothwell at UFC on Fox 18 on January 30th, 2016. Prior to that loss, Barnett had defeated the aforementioned Roy Nelson by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 75 on September 27th, 2015. Barnett is currently the No. 9 in the official UFC Heavyweight rankings.

Arlovski had been on a roll, winning six bouts in a row against Frank Mir among other, before current UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic stopped him right on his tracks. Following that TKO loss at bet on UFC 195 on January 2nd, 2016, Arlovski went on to succumb to current No. 1 contender for Miocic’s title Alistair Overeem, who defeated the Belarusian via TKO at UFCF Fight Night 87 on May 8th, 2016.

As UFC gambling fans will agree, the 6th ranked heavyweight has basically faced the top two guys in that division back-to-back. Putting it that way, it is easy to say why Barnett is the favorite; Miocic and Overeem have pretty much softened Arlovski up for him. Barnett might live up to his Philadelphia Jailbird moniker and deliver a prison beating to the Pitbull.
