US Open Odds stand out among the majors at SBG Global

It’s often difficult to explain but anyone that has ever wagered on the US Open odds game can tell you that the US Open are unique. But the best to describe what the US Open odds represent is to describe what the US Open game does not represent. It is not an endurance contest like many tennis fans have seen at the French Open. If you want to play the US Open odds in an attempt to replicate what the French Open is about, forget it. Clay is dominated by clay tacticians which are generally the fittest athletes on tour and simply do not give up on any balls. This is important in the US Open , but not the main component.

Nor are the US Open Wimbledon. The grass courts at the All England club demand quick reflexes on the return and a big serve will an opponent in no time at all. But to win the US Open you need more than just a monster serve and the ball doesn’t rise nearly so fast at the US Open courts as it does on grass. But the US Open game courts do play fast and players must be good on the service return.

The Australian Open is perhaps the closest of the Majors to the US Open game but it’s still not quite the same. Both tournaments are played in brutal heat, but the US Open are perhaps more humid on occasion. Also the US Open come at the end of the year not the beginning and so the players on tour are in much different condition that at the Aussie Open.

But perhaps the best way to describe the US Open is as a mixture of elements of all the other Majors. And that is what makes the US Open the most entertaining in tennis.
