2007-2008 East Carolina Pirates College Basketball Lines

College basketball lines on East Carolina games in 2007-2008 may be a little tough to predict

The team has a new coach in Mack McCarthy and quite a few new faces.  It may take some time for gamblers to get a handle on the East Carolina basketball lines.

College basketball lines will show that the Pirates return four starters and eight lettermen but many of the players are in their first or second year at ECU.  Last season the Pirates struggled in all phases of the game and against college basketball lines.  East Carolina only managed to score 59.3 points per game and shot less than 40 percent from the floor according to experts that bet college basketball lines.  Things should be different this season with a good coach and a new philosophy.  Experts that bet college basketball lines see a front line that has John Fields and Gabe Blair returning.  They will get help from redshirt freshman Chad Wynn and true freshman DaQuan Joyner.  Basketball lines experts remember that Fields became the first freshman to lead CUSA in field goal percentage (62.4%) and also ranked second among the league’s freshman in rebounding with 5.9 boards per game. Blair also had a nice first year according to college basketball lines experts.  He was the top freshman rebounder in CUSA, pulling down seven per game. Wynn will definitely take the pressure off upfront according to college basketball lines experts. Former walk-on Taylor Gagnon returns for his senior season. DaQuan Joyner should also contribute and give ECU minutes.

College basketball lines experts see that Darrell Jenkins returns to lead the backcourt.  Basketball lines experts know that he set an ECU single-season record in assists while leading Conference USA with 166. He was also the team’s leading scorer according to college basketball lines experts, averaging 12.3 points per game.   Also returning according to college basketball lines experts is Cory Farmer who started 18 games last year.
The team also gets Sam Hinnant back in the rotation after he missed the last 16 games of last season with an injury. ECU also returns sophomores Brandon Evans and Greyson Sargent according to college basketball lines experts. There will also be four newcomers, Jontae Sherrod, Brock Young, Jamar Abrams and James Legan who should see time.

Many college basketball lines experts think East Carolina could surprise this season.  They will definitely be more entertaining and more competitive versus the basketball lines this season.
