The Raptors shot 59% in the first quarter and held the Pistons to 43%, and had a 51-45 lead at halftime. DeRozan led the team with 10 points in the first quarter on 5-for-6 shooting. The Raptors were firmly in control during three fourths of the game. Detroit turned the tables, however, and outscored Toronto 36-19 in the fourth quarter, shooting 62% to Toronto’s 37%. Butler’s bruised right heel worsened during a loss to the Suns on Friday. Wade missed the game with a swollen right wrist. Mirotic had back spasms and Zipser a sore left ankle and a stomach illness. Head coach Fred Hoiberg started Jerian Grant, Carter-Williams, McDermott, Lopez and Gibson.
