Final Three in Dancing with the Stars Betting
It appears to be a race between Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward and Disney actress Chelsea Kane. Kirstie Alley is the other dancer who made the final three but there is no question she is a longshot to win.
Hines and Kym
If not for the injury that Kym Johnson suffered then Hines would be the clear cut favorite in Dancing with the Stars betting. He has had a number of weeks where he led the field in scoring. If Kym’s injury doesn’t hold her back then Hines has a good chance to win.
Chelsea and Mark
They took the top spot last week in the semifinals and with the injury to Hines’ partner Kym; they could have the advantage in the finals. The disadvantage for Chelsea is that she does not have the biggest fan base and if she doesn’t score big she could have trouble in the voting. Chelsea does have Mark Ballas as her partner and he knows how to win. This will be his fourth time in the finals and he won in Season 6 with Kristi Yamaguchi and in Season 8 with Shawn Johnson. He made the finals last year but came up short with Bristol Palin.
Kirstie and Maks
Somehow Kirstie Alley is in the finals. It is definitely not because of her dancing that she has made it this far. She has survived because of her popularity with fans. She is the sentimental favorite but she is the not best dancer and she has Maksim Chmerkovskiy as her partner and he always finds a way to complain about losing.
There have been six women who have won in the 11 seasons of Dancing with the Stars odds while five men have won. If Hines Ward wins this season then it would be exactly even after 12 seasons between men and women winners. It would also break a two season winning streak for the women as Jennifer Grey and Nicole Scherzinger were the last two winners. Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars will begin in the fall.
