The Streak Falls To The Brow

February 8, 2015 NBA Basketball

basketball playersJust yesterday we were talking about NBA Basketball Betting, singing praises to the almighty Atlanta Hawks and how this team managed to be the most exciting squad in the NBA League for the past two months. And then their path reached a brow, a ‘unibrow’ to be quite literal. Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans were the ones to finally put an end to the impressive 19 game winning streak the Hawks had up until that point.

Anthony Davis is a bonafied superstar; his talents at times appear to be otherworldly, and last night he demonstrated why he is becoming one of the most exciting players in the league. He scored 29 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and had three assists. But he wasn’t by himself, his teammates Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans also put in some work that was enough to overpower a tough and disciplined Hawks team. The Pelicans pulled the upset and went for the OVER. NBA Basketball Betting fans should now take the Pelicans very seriously as they will become a serious threat in the up coming playoffs.

As for the Atlanta hawks this loss did come as a surprise but it shouldn’t be any indication of chinks on their armor. They are still, perhaps, the best team in the NBA right now, and their name should still be considered as the number one contenders for the tittle. NBA Basketball Betting experts expect them to jump back on track and continue to dominate the league. They will jump back soon, and very likely it will be on their next game. What happened last night was the result when a strong, disciplined team faced a very talented squad lead by a player who was having one of his best games of the season. One thing is for sure, we can’t wait for a rematch.
