2010 F1 Betting is Wide Open

F1 betting in 2010 should be exciting with a number of drivers having a chance to win the title.

And even though Jenson Button won last year’s driver’s championship, he is the fifth choice in F1 odds to start the season.

F1 betting has Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso as the two favorites to start the season.  Michael Schumacher, who has come out of retirement, is the third choice in F1 betting at about 5-1.  Sebastian Vettel is the fourth choice at just over 6-1 in F1 odds. Button is the fifth choice at double-digit odds.

It is going to be interesting in F1 betting to see how Schumacher does with Mercedes GP. He is a seven-time world champion and he is getting a lot of respect already in F1 betting. Some people believe that the sport has bypassed Schumacher while others believe he can step right back into F1 and win immediately.  There is one person who is not happy about Schumacher’s return and that is his teammate Nico Rosberg.  He has already said that he doesn’t think Schumacher can take three years off and be in good enough shape to win. Another driver, Sebastian Vettel is on the other side of that argument as he thinks Schumacher is in great shape.

The favorite in F1 betting is Hamilton.  He has said that he is going to be focused this season on winning and less on his off-the course antics and his famous girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.  Hamilton better be prepared since has already upset a lot of drivers including his former teammate Alonso.

F1 betting begins with the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix on March 14th. It continues with the Australian Grand Prix on March 28th.  The Malaysian Grand Prix is the first race in April and is followed by the Chinese Grand Prix on April 18th. The races in May for those that bet on F1 odds are the Gran Premio De Espana Telefonica, the Grand Prix De Monaco and the Turkish Grand Prix.

June races in F1 odds have the Grand Prix Du Canada and the Telefonica Grand Prix of Europe. July has the Santander British Grand Prix and the Grosser Preis Santander Von Deutschland. July has the Magyar Dagydu while August is the Belgian Grand Prix.  September has the Gran Premio Santander D’Italia and the Singapore Grand Prix.  October has the Japanese Grand Prix and the Korean Grand Prix. The F1 season concludes with the Grande Premio Do Brasil and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
