At the onset of the week, the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx continue to draw most of the WNBA betting support. Gamblers believe we will see a rematch of the 2024 WNBA championship series that New York won. However, Minnesota has been so impressive that a revenge scenario is entirely plausible. Meanwhile, the Phoenix Mercury is gaining traction with gamblers due to its impressive play. Most important of all, Mercury is offering more board value than New York and Minnesota. Finally, the Indiana fever draws fans and gamblers, but is not breaking out.

Liberty Finally Visits the Cashier Cage
First place in the Eastern Conference belongs to the New York Liberty. New York is 14-6 straight up but only 8-11-1 against the spread. However, the Liberty lost only one of its last four games vs. the offshore betting odds. The Liberty went under the total in four consecutive games. New York ranks first in the WNBA for scoring and 4th for fewest points allowed.
On Sunday, the Liberty won and covered a 79-72 decision against the Atlanta Dream as 5.5-point home favorites. The game went under the total of 164.5. Previously, the Liberty routed the Las Vegas Aces 87-78 as 4.5-point home favorites. The game went under the total of 165.5.
Namely, Breanna Stewart leads New York with 19.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Sabrina Ionescu adds 18.8 points and 5.3 assists per game. Meanwhile, Jonquel Jones adds 12.1 points and 9.6 rebounds per contest.
2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend June 18-19
On Friday night, the WNBA will host its All-Star Weekend from Indianapolis, Indiana, at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Next, on Saturday, the WNBA All-Star Game will take place at 8:30 p.m. ET with television coverage on ABC. The matchup is Team Clark (Caitlin) against Team Collier (Napheesa).
Although Caitlin Clark is the captain of a team named after her, she is not having a dominant season. Clark does not even lead her team in scoring. Kelsey Mitchell leads the Indiana Fever with 19.2 points per game. Second is Clark with 16.7 points and 9.0 assists per contest. Clark is indeed the most coveted WNBA betting asset, but she is worn down. Clark has had to deal with hate, resentment, and physical attacks on the court with no protection from the league. Consider that the WNBA was largely ignored before Clark’s arrival.
In addition to Clark, Indiana’s Aliyah Boston is an All-Star starter. Boston is averaging 16.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per contest.
A’ja Wilson is a future Hall of Fame inductee and the marquee player of the Las Vegas Aces. Wilson is averaging 17.5 points per game.
Team Collier is led by Napheesa Collier, who is the superstar marquee player of the Minnesota Lynx. Collier leads Minnesota with 23.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per contest.
WNBA legend Breanna Stewart will start for Team Collier. In sum, Stewart averages 19.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
With the home crowd on her side, expect Clark to raise the level of her game and for a strong performance. Similarly, that also applies to her teammate, Boston.
