The WNBA is heading toward the home stretch of the playoffs. Specifically, the WNBA betting regular season ends on September 19, with the playoffs to follow. Accordingly, the future markets expect the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty to meet in the WNBA Finals for the second consecutive season. Last year, New York won its first WNBA championship. But in 2025, Minnesota will be the most dominant team in the league. Most important of all, the Lynx have been a reliable betting value this season. A dark horse to keep an eye on is the Atlanta Dream.

Atlanta Has a Dream
At the onset of the week, the Atlanta Dream has emerged as an upstart challenger to the New York Liberty in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta is 21-12 straight up and 19-14 against the spread. The Dream covered the offshore betting spread in five of its most recent six games. Also, Atlanta went under the total in four of its last five outings. Atlanta is a balanced club, ranking 5th for scoring offense and 3rd for points allowed. The strength of Atlanta is rebounding. To illustrate, Atlanta ranks 1st for offensive and defensive rebounding.
First among Atlanta scorers is Allisha Gray with 19.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest. Gray was the 4th overall pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft out of South Carolina by the Dallas Wings. She is a 3-time WNBA All-Star, including this year. Also, Gray was the 2017 WNBA Rookie of the Year.
Previously, Atlanta had strong WNBA betting success with three Eastern Conference titles (2010, 2011, and 2013). The Dream is in position to make its best championship run in franchise history.
Atlanta will play at the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday. Next is a home game against the Western Conference-leading Minnesota Lynx on Thursday. And then on Saturday, the Dream hosts the New York Liberty in its biggest game of the season.
To conclude, many bargain hunters are giving Atlanta a look. The Dream is offering better value because the casual sector is yet to catch on to them.
Indiana Has Playoff Fever Without Clark
Despite missing Caitlin Clark for over a month, the Indiana Fever are in an Eastern Conference playoff position. Indiana has a record of 18-16 straight up, 17-17 against the spread, and 16-18 under the total. However, Indiana got the cash in one of its most recent five games. Also, the Fever went over the total in only two of its most recent seven games.
Namely, head coach Stephanie White has made a profound difference in her first season leading the Clark-Era Fever. To illustrate, Indiana ranks 4th for scoring offense and eighth for points allowed.
First among Indiana scorers is Kelsey Mitchell with 19.9 points per game. Mitchell was the second overall pick of the 2018 WNBA Draft out of Ohio State by Indiana. Mitchell is a 3-time WNBA All-Star, including this year, and was on the 2018 All-Rookie team.
At the onset of the week, the Fever will host the Seattle Storm. Next is a Friday road team against the Los Angeles Sparks. Sunday brings another road game against the Golden State Valkyries.
Clark has played in only 13 games this season because of a groin injury. In turn, her status remains day-to-day.
