UFC Odds on “The Spider” Silva vs. Forrest Griffin

January 15th, 2021 UFC Betting

Silva’s next match will be featured in the UFC odds event and even though it’s not the main event, it will definitely be the UFC betting odds event that no one will miss.

The light heavyweight UFC champ is arguably the best MMA fighter in the world and Forrest Griffin has very little chance (in real life, or in the UFC 101 Declaration betting) of winning.

UFC  makers have very little reason to suspect that Silva will lose this UFC betting odds event on August 8th. The 6’2 185 lb fighter is the ultimate fighting machine. He’s a master of the submission moves, he’s excellent on his feet and his hands are like weapons. He simply has no weaknesses and that is what has made him the UFC  champ and created so many problems for his many UFC betting odds opponents.

With a career UFC odds record of 24-4 and 16 knockouts there are not many people who could climb into the octagon with this guy. Even more frightening for any potential UFC betting odds opponent, at age 34 he seems to be in the best fighting form of his career. He’ll enter the upcoming UFC  event riding a ten match win streak with his last defeat coming almost four years ago.

However, Griffin will have one advantage in the UFC  given that Silva is a natural middleweight fighter. Griffin should have the advantage in power, however, as mat fighter it may not make much of a difference when the action is all said and done. Griffin has a career record of 16-5. Three of his wins have come from knock out, while seven of his victories have come by submission. Griffin’s main strength is his toughness and he’ll definitely need it in his next UFC match.

One other thing to consider is the lackluster performance that Silva put in his last time in a UFC odds bout. He won the match but didn’t impress. And it’s not as if Griffin hasn’t been in big fights before. In his last three UFC odds matches he faced Mau Rua, Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans, no pushovers there.

Still, you have to like Silva in this sports book match up. Look for Silva to keep the fight on his feet and use Griffin as a punching bag. Griffin doesn’t have the quickness to keep up with Silva. This UFC odds event should end with a knockout before full time with Silva the winner.
