January 19th, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC betting is always featuring great bouts and that will be the case again in UFC 107 as Diego Sanchez is scheduled to face BJ Penn. Those that bet on UFC at the sports book will definitely want to be watching this fight. UFC 107 should be another great card for gamblers to wager on at the sports book.

UFC was originally going to feature “Rampage” Jackson vs. Rashad Evans but that is not going to happen. The good news for gamblers who bet on UFC at the online sportsbook is that the Sanchez-Penn bout could be a great one in the lightweight division. It will be for the lightweight title and should get a lot of UFC attention and could easily be the best fight on the UFC 107 card.

Sanchez is coming off a very exciting bout against Clay Guida at The Ultimate Fighter 9 Season Finale while Penn last fought at UFC 101 where he defeated challenger Kenny Florian. Many who bet on UFC at the sportsbook will want to see Sanchez again since his fight against Guida won Fight of the Night, and is considered one of the best UFC fights of the year.

Penn has been very good in UFC . He has not lost in a lightweight fight since 2002. He was beaten by Jens Pulver in 2002 but defeated Pulver in a UFC betting rematch. Sanchez doesn’t have the experience of Penn but he sure does have the excitement from UFC gamblers. His fight against Guida was great in UFC as was his debut in UFC lightweight action as he beat Joe Stevenson at UFC 95.

The UFC card for UFC 107 is not official yet but it looks like Paulo Thiago will face Thiago Alves. That UFC  bout features Alves who is a former number one welterweight contender. Frank Mir is a former UFC heavyweight champion and he is expected to fight Cheick Kongo in UFC action.

There is no question that making a bet on UFC bouts is very popular at the sports book today. Every UFC event gets a lot of attention from gamblers around the world as people want to buy the Pay-Per-View event. It also helps that Spike TV shows many of the fights for free in addition to their very popular Ultimate Fighter series.
