UFC Betting Preview of the Grove vs. Almeida Bout. UFC odds makers have a lot of intriguing matches to pour over in the upcoming UFC 101 Declaration betting event. There are a dozen UFC betting odds matches to handicap and all are listed on the online betting sites. From light heavyweight to light weight this UFC odds has it all and even the lesser hyped fights on the main card should be outstanding.

UFC odds for the main event and the Silva fight are sure to be in high demand but fans shouldn’t pass up the UFC 101 odds events on the bottom half of the main card either. One event that hasn’t received a lot of UFC odds hype but one that fans might want to take a look at is the Kendall Grove vs. Ricardo Almeida bout. This American-Brazilian throw down could have some of the best UFC betting odds of the night.

Grove has a career record of 12-5 in UFC odds events he’s better known for his celebration theatrics than for any particular fighting prowess. At 6’6 and 185 lbs he is also a terribly difficult UFC odds opponent to prepare for. His size may be his greatest strength as he’s neither a particularly skilled submission fighter nor has he been known for his knockout power. He enters the fight riding a 2 match win streak in the UFC odds.

His opponent, 32-year old Almeida, enters the match with a career record of 13-3 in UFC betting odds contests. Interestingly enough none of those UFC odds victories has come by knockout. Four of the wins have come via submission and 6 of those victories were the results of decisions. Just looking at his record it’s easy to see that this Brazilian Jiu-jitsu disciple is not going to overpower Kendall in the upcoming UFC betting odds event.

These two fighters are actually a bit unorthodox and not exactly what many UFC odds fans are accustomed to seeing. A tall lanky survivor and a tactical point scorer on the mat wouldn’t quite seem to make the perfect UFC odds match. But it certainly makes the fight unique. It still has the potential to go down as a UFC betting masterpiece.

There should be no doubt that Almeida is more skilled fighter in this UFC odds bout. But how well he can contend with the 6’6” Grove remains a mystery. And don’t forget, Grove is also adept on the mat which is Almeida’s preferred turf.
