January 21st, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC betting has hosted some excellent fights over the years and fans should expect that same level of quality when the UFC odds action gets underway at the upcoming UFC Ultimate Fighter Finale event.

With a loaded card, there sports betting fans have a buffet of high quality fights to choose from in this UFC  event. One of the fights that will headline the action is of course the UFC odds match up between Clay Guida and Diego Sanchez.

UFC betting fans are surely familiar with these two light-weight scrappers. Guida has been on the cusp of a UFC championship fight for years and Sanchez is one of the fastest rising contenders in the lightweight UFC odds. The two will go head to head in the main event of the up coming UFC event which pits the US against the UK in an interesting twist of the traditional UFC betting format.

Heading into this fight Guida has to be the favorite in the UFC odds. Most sportsbooks list his long record of success at the highest level of UFC as his main advantage. He is a tremendous all-around fighter versed in wrestling, Muay Thai and kick boxing styles of UFC betting techniques. While wrestling is likely his strongest style his reputation among UFC betting competitors is built around his legendary stamina and toughness -he’s not the kind of guy to tap out of a submission move in the first round as so many of the UFC etting athletes are.

With a career record of 25-4, Guida is coming off three straight wins in the UFC betting competition his most recent a split decision of Nate Diaz in January. That bout also won the UFC match of the night title. But to think that he’ll walk through Sanchez would be a major UFC betting mistake.

Sanchez has the experience to go toe-to-toe with Guida and is veteran of 26 UFC betting events. With a career record of 20-6 his overall fighting experience is very similar to Guida’s in the UFC realm. Sanchez is a much different fighter than Guida and employs the Brazilian Juijitsu as his main fighting style in the UFC events. At 5′ 11″ he’s got four inches of height and a longer reach than his UFC opponent. He may try and use that to his advantage and keep the UFC betting contest on its feet.

In the end, look for Guida to take the win in what should be a very well-matched UFC betting contest at this US vs. UK main event.
