UFC Betting Preview: Chris Lytle vs. Kevin Burns

January 21st, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC betting will be at the top of its game on June 20th, when the UFC Ultimate Fighter 9 spectacular goes down. For fans of UFC odds this UFC betting event should be well worth the wait. One of the undercard events will feature two of the top rising welter weights in sports betting when Chris Lytle and Kevin Burns square off.

UFC betting fans are likely aware that the main event for these UFC odds features light weights Clay Guida and Nate Sanchez. But the rest of this UFC betting event is awfully unique in the fact that the major theme is “US vs. UK”. An international Battle Royale which should provide some great fighting and plenty of opportunity to bet UFC odds.

Representing the US in this UFC betting welter weight showdown is Lytle. This Indiana native is has one of the longest resumes in the UFC odds and has been a professional fighter since the stone ages. He’s got 48 professional bouts under his belt, and is 26-4 in UFC events. His stint as a boxer wasn’t quite as successful. But he’s proven a very competent UFC betting fighter and his boxing skills have helped him tremendously. A practitioner of Jiu-jitsu as well, he seems equally well-versed on the mat or on his feet and that’s what makes him such a difficult opponent in the UFC odds.

UFC betting fans will watch as he tries to knock out Burns, a fellow American and much less-experienced fighter in UFC betting competitions. (The fact that the two men are both from the US doesn’t quite seem to jive with the theme of this sports betting event, but who cares). Burns, like Lytle, is coming off a loss in his last UFC appearance. Both men should be motivated and there’s little question as to their talent. Burns has a UFC betting record of 7-2 in his career events, a fraction of the UFC experience of his opponent, but he also has youth on his side. Burns is also a submission artist and will likely try and take this bout to the mat quickly.

The longer the men stay on their feet the greater advantage to Lytle whose boxing background will no doubt be an advantage. But many UFC experts expect youth to be served in this match. Lytle, at 35 years old, is no spring chicken and the longer the match goes on the great the chance of Burns pulling off the win in this UFC betting match up.
