UFC Betting – Diaz vs. Guillard

January 22nd, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC betting on UFC Fight Night 19 is headlined by Nate Diaz facing Melvin Guillard. While this bout is the headliner it does have some high UFC betting odds. Here is a look at Diaz vs. Guillard in addition to all of the other betting odds for UFC Fight Night 19.

UFC betting has Diaz better than a 2-1 favorite at the online sportsbook over Guillard in UFC Fight Night 19 scheduled for September 16th. Diaz comes into this UFC betting bout at 10-4 MMA, 5-2 UFC while Guillard is 23-7-2 MMA, and 5-3 UFC. Spike TV will be televising UFC Fight Night 19 as a lead in to “The Ultimate Fighter 10.”

Diaz may be favored in UFC betting at the sports book but he has had a couple of losses lately to Joe Stevenson and Clay Guida. Before those two losses in UFC odds, Diaz had five straight wins. Guillard has won three straight including two in a row in the UFC. He beat Dennis Siver last year and then beat Gleison Tibau in a split decision in The Ultimate Fighter 9. Gamblers still are giving Diaz a lot of respect in this matchup.

The other three bouts on the main card in UFC have Gray Maynard favored against Roger Huerta, Carlos Condit a big UFC favorite at the online sportsbook against Jake Ellenberger and Nate Quarry a big favorite in UFC betting odds against Tim Credeur.

There are seven bouts on the preliminary card in UFC which will not be shown on TV. It is Steve Cantwell a -300 UFC favorite at the sports book vs. Brian Stann. Mike Pyle is -150 in UFC odds vs. Chris Wilson. It is Dan Miller a solid UFC favorite against C.B. Dollaway. Sam Stout is favored in UFC betting against Phillipe Nover. Jeremy Stephens is the UFC betting favorite against Justin Buchholz. Brock Larson is a huge favorite against Mike Pierce (better than a 5-1 choice) and it is Ryan Jensen favored against Steven Steinbeiss.

Diaz vs. Guillard should be an entertaining bout for gamblers looking at the UFC to follow. It is not the only one that has the potential to be exciting though. Even though there are a lot of big favorites, the UFC Fight Night 19 card does have some potential upsets on the board.
