Penn vs. Sherk headlines action at UFC 84 Betting at SBG Global

UFC 84 betting fans are likely familiar with Sean “The Muscle Shark” Sherk who won the light heavyweight belt in October of 2006 only to have it stripped, much to the surprise of UFC 84 betting fans, for testing positive for steroid use in 2007. UFC 84 betting will be the first time he’s fought since his suspension and many UFC betting odds are curious to see how well he’ll do in the ring against the new champ heading into UFC 84 betting, BJ Penn.

Penn has been a wonder in the UFC betting odds and many people are expecting big things as he heads into the UFC 84 betting. The champ is one of only two fighters in UFC betting odds history (the other is the legendary Randy Couture) to win world UFC titles at two different weight classes. Penn is naturally a much lighter fighter; originally he had to jump up to the welter weight class to win his first world title, and has jumped up another level to the light heavy weight class from UFC 84 betting. After first winning the welter weight belt in 2004 he lost the title in 2006 and has only been holder of the light heavy weight belt for several months heading into the UFC 84 betting.

Both fighters will weight in at around 155 for UFC 84 betting and perhaps better suited for lighter weights. As Sherk is dropping down a weigh and Penn jumping up a class we could see an interesting mix of technical and power fighting in this UFC 84 light heavyweight event. We could also see some rust on both fighters as Sherk hasn’t fought competitively for nine months and Penn has lost two of his last three matches heading into the UFC 84 betting.

But more likely than not both hungers will be plenty hungry (Sherk looking to redeem himself, and Penn looking to hold on to his title) and that will only help the UFC 84 betting odds.
