The UFC Lightweight title will be on the line Saturday night from Brooklyn. Max Holloway is the surprise challenger to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Originally Tony Ferguson was supposed to face Khabib. But Ferguson pulled out giving Holloway a shot at a title belt. Additionally, the women’s straw-weight title will be on the line Saturday. Rose Namajunas will face Joanna Jedrzejczyk in UFC Betting Odds championship fight action. There will also be three other bouts on the main card. The championship twin bill will be at the Barclays Center.

This card settled well but only after a lot of substituting. Injuries, visas and pullouts all adjusted the scheduling. Eight more wins were by submission with nine by decision. In his last bout on December 30, 2017 Khabib defeated Edson Barboza. Las Vegas hosted the three-round bout that ended with unanimous decision. Nurmagomedov still resides in and fights out of Russia.
Max Holloway
Max Holloway is 26 years of age and is a native of Hawaii. He still resides and fights out of there. In 22 career MMA bouts he has 19 wins and three losses. A total of nine of his wins nine were by knockout. Holloway has scored two wins by submission and eight by decision. Of his three losses one was by submission and two by decision. Holloway is defending UFC Featherweight champion. He is coming off a three round TKO win over Jose Aldo. The win took place on December 2, 2017 at Detroit.
Rose Namajunas
Rose Namajunas is defending straw-weight champion. She posted a Sportsbook Online win for the title on November 4, 2017. Rose defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk on November 4, 2017 in a first round TKO. With the win came the Straw-weight title belt. Namajunas has seven wins and three losses in her career. She has one win by knockout, five by submission and on by decision. Of her three losses one was by submission and two by decision.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk
Joanna Jedrzejczyk has a career record of 14 wins and one loss. That one loss was of course for the straw-weight title against Namajunas. She was previously the straw-weight champion for six consecutive bouts. Revenge will be in the air Saturday with a favorite that is the challenger.
