UFC 114 The Latest in Light Heavy Weight.  On the Chinese Zodiac 2010 might be the year of the Tiger but in the world of MMA betting 2010 has been the year of the light heavyweight and the UFC 114 betting action on May 29th will be latest in a long line of great light heavy weight fighting action this year.

The UFC 114 odds event is also likely the best matchup so far and the crowd pouring into the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas will be treated to a thrilling show and sports betting enthusiasts will have plenty to think about wagering on this UFC betting Main Event.

MMA betting fans have been waiting for a over a year for the UFC 114 betting matchup between Ramage Jackson and Rashad Evans and now it’s finally arrived.  Jackson had to delay the fight, which was originally scheduled for the UFC 104 betting event because of the filming schedule of the new A-Team movie.  But he’s ready to fight now, as is his UFC 114 odds opponent and former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans.

But these two former UFC betting champs are simply the latest in a string of outstanding light heavyweight fights that have gone on in the UFC betting so far in 2010.  In the previous UFC betting event, UFC 113, Mau Rua retained his UFC betting belt with a KO over top contender Lyoto Machida in what had been the most anticipated UFC odds matchup of the year.  But the UFC betting matchup between Jackson and Evans is arguably even more anticipated by the sports betting community with the winner of this UFC 114 odds bout getting a shot at Rua.

All told,  in the past two UFC Main Event betting there have been a total of five former light heavy weight champions in action, including the three that will be in action once the UFC betting event gets underway.

And even though a date hasn’t been set, there will be another light heavyweight title scheduled in the very new future with Rua and the winner of the UFC 114 betting odds main event.  The year isn’t even half way over yet, but the light heavies have already claimed it as their own in the UFC betting competition.
