The UFC betting events are obviously the best MMA wagering events anywhere and fans of the sport are lucky to have to tremendous events (the UFC 114 betting event and the UFC 113 betting contest) held back to back.
Both of these UFC betting events are about as good as it gets in MMA betting action and, in fact, are both very similar in the types of fighters that they feature.
The UFC 114 betting action will get underway on May 29th 2010 and the main event will feature two of the best light heavyweights in the business, both former title holders in that weight class. That may look like a misprint for any sports betting fan that wagered on the UFC 113 betting events but it’s not. More than anything it’s a testament to strength of the light heavyweight division in the UFC betting action.
The UFC 114 betting main event will feature former title holder Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and former champ Rashad Evans. The similarities are obvious as the UFC 113 betting Main Event featured former light heavyweight Lyoto Machida and new champ Mauricio Rua.
Two UFC betting main events and four current or former UFC wagering champions in a month: that’s about as much talent as you’ll ever see in back to back MMA betting events. The Machia vs Rua UFC 113 betting headline event was a bit anti-climactic as Rua KO’d his opponent. But still, hey hype and the quality of fighting that took place, was about at the very highest level for this fight.
The good news for UFC betting fans is that the UFC 114 betting Main Event has the potential to be much more exciting –perhaps the best fight of the year so far in the MMA betting. These two former champs, Jackson and Evans, remain two of the most deadly fighters in the UFC odds action and could both very well climb back to the top of the sport. The winner of the event has already been granted a title shot at Rua after and that should only make the competition level in this fight even better.
