Many people who look at UFC 109 Betting don’t believe Coleman has anything left but UFC President Dana White is excited about the matchup. “Couture vs. Coleman is one of those dream matchups that fans have always talked about,” White said, “And when you consider that these are two of the greatest wrestlers turned mixed martial artists ever, and it’s the first time that two guys who have already earned their way into the UFC Hall of Fame are fighting each other, this is not only an intriguing matchup, but a historic one.”

Couture is coming off a unanimous decision in UFC Betting as he defeated Brandon Vera in UFC 105. Couture has 14 wins in UFC Betting and is now a headliner again on the UFC odds board. “Mark Coleman is another classic matchup for me,” said Couture. Coleman was fighting in Japan until last year when he came back to the UFC and fought Mauricio Rua and Stephan Bonnar. “This is by far the biggest fight of my career,” Coleman said. “I have nothing but respect both inside and outside of the Octagon for Randy Couture.”

In other UFC Betting action on the main card it will be two of the UFC’s top two middleweight contenders doing battle as Nate Marquardt goes up against Chael Sonnen. Also on the main card it is Matt Serra against Frank Trigg in UFC betting; Mike Swick vs. Paulo Thiago and Demian Maia vs. Dan Miller.

The preliminary card has six bouts in UFC Betting including two on Spike TV. It is Mac Danzig vs. Justin Buchholz and Melvin Guillard vs. Ronnys Torres in UFC odds. The remaining bouts on the preliminary UFC 109 Betting card are Phillipe Nover vs. Rob Emerson, Tim Hague vs. Chris Tuchscherer, Brian Stann vs. Phil Davis and Mostapha Al-turk vs. Rolles Gracie.
