UFC betting will have a co-feature on Saturday as Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filopovic faces Junior Dos Santos in UFC 103. Those that bet on UFC action at the online sportsbook should see a great fight as these two battle in the Octagon on Saturday night.
UFC betting has Dos Santos as a -140 favorite at the sportsbook in this bout. Cro Cop was a great striker in the MMA and his left kick was a big weapon but recently he has slipped so this is a big comeback fight for him. A couple of years ago Cro Cop would have been favored in UFC betting at the online sportsbook but not anymore. He did win in UFC betting in his last bout against Mustapha Al-Turk but it was a disputed win as Al-Turk was poked in the eye. Before that win, Cro Cop had a couple of wins, a loss and a no contest in UFC betting. Cro Cop has to regain some credibility in UFC betting or this could be his last feature fight. The novelty has worn off so this is a huge bet on UFC bout for Mirko on Saturday. He has said he wants to show everyone that he is not a washed up fighter. That may be easier said than done in UFC betting, especially against Dos Santos.
Dos Santos is 8-1 with six of his wins coming by first round knock out or technical knock out. Both fighters will be looking to end this bout quickly so it should be exciting as long as it lasts in UFC betting.
The Dos-Santos-Cro Cop bout is one of the two main features on the UFC betting card. The other bout has Rich Franklin facing Vitor Belfort. Franklin is a slight UFC betting favorite. There are three other Pay-Per View bouts on the UFC betting card and then another eight fights on the preliminary card, many of which will be shown on Spike TV. The other three main bouts are Martin Kampmann taking on Paul Daley, Josh Koscheck up against Frank Trigg and Tyson Griffin against Hermes Franca. Kampmann, Koscheck and Griffin are both heavy bet on UFC favorites in their fights.
