UFC betting lines at the online sportsbook have Josh Koscheck as a heavy favorite on Saturday night in UFC 103 against Frank Trigg.
Koscheck is a popular fighter for those that bet on UFC at online sportsbook sites and that will be the case in UFC 103. It has been a while since Koscheck has fought since he was hurt in a loss to Paulo Thiago in UFC 95.
UFC betting has seen Koscheck in the Octagon a lot in the past so getting him back should be good for the sport. “I couldn’t do any jiu jitsu for some time, but it might have been a good thing for me,” Koscheck said, “I don’t know yet. We will see when I fight Frank Trigg. But, I’m the type of person that, if I’m healthy, I’m in shape, and I’m ready to go, I will fight every month.” Koscheck fought four times in 2008 and won three of the four in UFC betting. “You know, I don’t like to be in the gym training full time,” Koscheck said, “You don’t make money there. So, where I make my money is in the cage and I love to be in front of the crowds. Texas is going to be exciting. I’m fired up about going back to Texas and fighting in front of the Texans again, and I can’t wait to get inside that cage and just letting the last couple of months … I haven’t fought since February and letting the last couple of months just freaking fly.” Koscheck is 14-4 in his career and his online betting losses are quality losses to George St. Pierre, Thiago, Drew Fickett and Alves.
Trigg last fought in UFC 54 so he is a veteran who knows how to fight in bet on UFC action. The problem is he doesn’t know how to win against top fighters as he has lost to St. Pierre and Matt Hughes in UFC betting.
