Two Titles on the Line in UFC 111 Betting

March 1st, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC 111 betting will have two titles on the line on Saturday, March 27th as Georges St. Pierre defends his welterweight title against Dan Hardy while Frank Mir and Shane Carwin battle for the Interim Heavyweight Championship.

St. Pierre is a huge favorite against Hardy in UFC 111 odds while Mir is a slight favorite against Carwin. UFC 111 betting has 11 fights on the card including the two big title bouts.  The five bouts on the main UFC 111 odds card are the previously listed title bouts and Ben Saunders vs. Jake Ellenberger, Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves and Jim Miller vs. Mark Bocek.

Spike TV will be showing two of the six preliminary UFC 111 betting bouts.  Those two fights have Nate Diaz vs. Rory Markham and Ricardo Almeida vs. Matt Brown.  The rest of the preliminary card in UFC 111 odds has Kurt Pellegrino vs. Fabricio Camoes, Rodney Wallace vs. Jared Hamman, Rousimar Palhares vs. Tomasz Drwal and Matthew Riddle vs. Greg Soto.

UFC 111 betting will have St. Pierre and Hardy attracting attention but that might not be much of a fight in UFC 111 odds considering St. Pierre is about an 8-1 favorite.  St. Pierre has simply been unstoppable in the UFC since getting his title back in 2008. Not many people believe Hardy, or anyone else for that matter, can beat him.  Hardy is not deterred though as he believes he can shock the world.  “It’s difficult because he is looking good at the moment and it’s difficult spotlight to be in, but all I need to do is land that one punch and that’s all I’m interested in.” Hardy said, “My game is striking. He knows that. I know that. It’s going to be no surprise that he’s going to want to take me down, and I’m going to want to knock him out.”

The better bout in UFC 111 betting should be the one between Mir and Carwin.  The winner of that UFC 111 betting bout will claim the Interim Heavyweight Championship and get a shot at Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar this summer.

UFC 111 betting could be even more popular than previous events since the UFC is expanding into movie theaters.  The UFC reached an agreement with NCM Fathom to allow 300 movie theaters to show UFC pay-per-view events. NCM works with AMC, Cinemark, Regal and other theaters.
