St-Pierre Looking to Shut Up Hardy in UFC 111

March 4th, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC 111 odds heavily favor Georges St-Pierre as he defends his title against Dan Hardy. UFC 111 betting will feature a total of eleven bouts on Saturday, March 27th with St-Pierre being the headliner in UFC 111 odds.

UFC 111 odds have St-Pierre as a huge favorite in the title bout.  Hardy has been running his mouth in advance of this fight and that may not have been a good idea.  St-Pierre is already considered the best fighter in the UFC today and it is not a good idea to upset him. “I know that I can give GSP hell when the times come,” Hardy said, “It’s so sweet stepping out into the Octagon on the other side saying, ‘I told you so.'”

St-Pierre has not said much in response in advance of UFC 111 betting. “Trash talk is not my thing, there is a line I will never cross,” St-Pierre said, “If he wants to cross the line then he’s going to cross it alone and I’m going to answer back with my fists in the Octagon.” St-Pierre already is considered the best fighter in the UFC but he still wants to prove his worth. “I have all the money, the fame, the security, but I need to stay hungry. And I like challenges,” St-Pierre said, “I don’t fight to be the champion anymore, because I’m already champion. I fight for legacy. I want these next couple of fights to be remembered forever.” St-Pierre learned his lesson in 2007 when he was heavily favored against Matt Serra and lost.  “This is a way for me to redeem myself in a situation where I failed before, to succeed and turn the page on that chapter of my life,” St-Pierre said.

The two main bouts in UFC 111 odds are the St-Pierre-Hardy fight and the Interim Heavyweight Championship bout between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin.  The other three bouts on the main UFC 111 betting card have Mark Bocek vs. Jim Miller, Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves and Jake Ellenberger vs. Ben Saunders in UFC 111 odds.

The preliminary card has six bouts in UFC 111 odds, two of which will be televised on Spike TV. Those two in UFC 111 betting are Nate Diaz vs. Rory Markham and Ricardo Almeida vs. Matt Brown.  The other four bouts in UFC 111 odds have Matthew Riddle against Greg Soto, Kurt Pellegrino vs. Fabricio Camoes, Rodney Wallace vs. Jared Hamman and Rousimar Palhares vs. Tomasz Drwal.
