UFC Fight Night 114 Preliminary Card & Sportsbook Lines
August 3rd, 2017 UFC Betting

The year’s online UFC betting action continues this weekend as players prepare to bet on UFC Fight Night 114.

After witnessing the return of Jon Jones this past weekend, MMA fans are left in anticipation for the next big fight inside the cage. This weekend’s event doesn’t have the same star-power as UFC 214 did, but there will still be some bloodshed.

UFC Fight Night 114: Pettis vs. Moreno – Saturday, August 5th

When: Main Card: 10 pm ET || Prelims: 8 pm ET || Early Prelims: 7 pm ET

Where: Arena Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico City, Mexico

This weekend’s event will be held in Mexico City, giving UFC fans south of the border the opportunity to catch the event live.

The night will be headlined by a flyweight bout between Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno. Neither of the two are considered huge online UFC betting draws, but they’ll still throw down to supply the promotion’s free event.

Main Card & Online UFC Betting Odds

Sergio Pettis 2 ½ (-160)         +150 vs. Brandon Moreno 2 ½ (+140)         -170

Randa Markos 2 ½ (+250)    +140 vs. Alexa Grasso 2 ½ (-300)                 -160

Alan Jouban 1 ½ (+130)       -160 vs. Niko Price 1 ½ (-150)                       +140

Martin Bravo 2 ½ (+115)      -330 vs. Humberto Bandenay 2 ½ (-135)     +270

Sam Alvey 2 ½ (+140)           +105 vs. Rashad Evans 2 ½ (-175)               +120

Alejandro Perez 2 ½ (-160)   -125 vs. Andre Soukhamthath 2 ½ (+140)  +105

Moreno enters the event as the odds on favorite to beat Pettis. The Assassin Baby comes into the bout sporting a 14-3 professional record, and is riding a 5-year win streak. Moreno looks like a good choice for players looking to bet on UFC Fight Night 114, as he is also riding a 3-fight win streak within the UFC.

Pettis comes into this contest with a record of 15-2, which also includes a three-fight win streak in the UFC. Pettis’ last loss came at the hands of Ryan Benoit, who defeated the Phenom via TKO in two rounds.

Another interesting match worth looking over is the pairing between Rashad Evans and Sam Alvey. Evans is a former UFC light heavyweight champion who is known as a well-rounded fighter. Unfortunately, much of Evans’ notoriety came from his loss in his first title defense. This weekend’s event will allow Evans to prove that he still has it.
