Rafael dos Anjos vs. Kevin Lee

Rafael Dos Anjos enters Fight Night with a record of 28-14 with the UFC Betting Odds. He enters this fight ranked third in the UFC welterweight rankings.  Of great concern is that Dos Anjos has lost two consecutive fights and four of his last six overall.  In his last bout on November 30, 2018 Dos Anjos lost a unanimous decision to Kamaru Usman in Las Vegas.  And before that on June 9, 2018 Dos Anjos was defeated in a unanimous decision to Colby Covington in Chicago in what was for the UFC welterweight championship.

UFC Betting Comeback Trail

Dos Anjos has been on a comeback quest ever since his defeat to Eddie Alvarez on July 7, 2016.  To be exact that bout was for the UFC Lightweight championship.  At the time Dos Anjos was the defending champion.  On March 14, 2015 he scored a unanimous decision Sportsbook win over Anthony Pettis to win the title.  Following that win he successfully defended the title belt one time.  On December 19, 2015 Dos Anjos scored a second-round technical knockout win over Donald Cerrone.  However, that has proven to be the peak of his career.  At least so far.

Lee Also Fights Slump

Concurrently Kevin Lee is also trying to get back on track with two losses in his last three fights.  Lee has a career record of 17-4 and a UFC ranking of seventh in the welterweight division.  Last time out for Lee was a unanimous decision loss to Al Iaquinta on December 15, 2018 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  On April 21, 2018 Lee scored a technical knockout win over Edson Barboza in Atlantic City, New jersey.

Lee’s Biggest Loss

Most important of all was the biggest fight of Lee’s career.  On October 7, 2017 he lost by submission to Tony Ferguson for the UFC lightweight championship.  It was the only time that Lee fought for a major championship.
