Tyson Griffin UFC 86 Odds at SBG Global

March 18th, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC 86 odds will include a bout between Tyson Griffin and Marcus Aurelio. It could be one of the best fights on the UFC 86 betting card. Griffin is 11-1 overall and 4-1 in the UFC while Aurelio is 14-5 overall and 2-1 in the UFC. Griffin is about a 3-1 favorite in UFC 86 odds. UFC 86 odds will have Griffin favored. He recently defeated Gleison Tibau in February and has not fought since. Griffin has been training with former Pride champ Takanori Gomi. “That’s the cool thing about being in Vegas,” he said. “There are tons of fighters who come in and out of the city. Gomi came in for two days and was training with us. It went great.”

Aurelio is a submission expert as 10 of his career 16 wins have come by submission.  He could present a problem for Griffin in UFC 86 betting but Griffin doesn’t seem worried. “I am completely comfortable in the jiu-jitsu game as far as MMA,” Griffin said. “When you mix punching in, it takes submissions to a different style.”  Griffin seems very focused on getting a UFC Lightweight title shot in the future and the UFC 86 odds reflect this fact.

One thing to keep in mind as you look at UFC 86 odds on the Griffin-Aurelio bout is that most of Griffin’s fights go the distance and end in decisions.  Many experts that look at UFC 86 betting are predicting that the Griffin-Aurelio bout could be the best one on the card.  The winner of the bout in UFC 86 betting could easily get a shot at the lightweight title.

The UFC 86 odds favor Griffin but Aurelio could be an interesting choice as an underdog in UFC 86 odds because of his submission style.  UFC 86 odds underdogs will be looked at by many gamblers and Aurelio should not be ignored.

There is no doubt that UFC 86 odds will be focused on the bout between Quinton Jackson and Forrest Griffin but the bout between Tyson Griffin and Marcus Aurelio may actually be more entertaining and could present better value on the UFC 86 odds board.  Take a look at the UFC 86 odds today.
