March 23rd, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC betting have been flying off the shelves of late. If seems that UFC 83 betting fans simply can’t get enough of the red hot fighting action. But UFC betting dominance over the world of combat sport seems to less secure than it’s been in the past will all kinds of new rival leagues developing and top fighters from UFC betting contracts expiring which could cause some difficulties.

UFC have grown faster and spread among the betting community faster than any other sport in memory. However, the fantastic growth in UFC betting has attracted much competition and in the year ahead UFC will see rivals go online and challenge what has been UFC 83 betting’s undisputed domain. Mark Cuban the billionaire entrepreneur and owner of the Dallas Mavericks is launching HDNET Fights this year as a direct rival to UFC . In addition, three already existing combat sport leagues, the IFL Elite XC and Bodog Fight are putting pressure on UFC as the top fighting draw in sports wagering.

The thing that makes HDNET different is that is has a masterful marketing campaign behind it and plenty of money to burn through in its attempt to displace UFC 83 betting as the king of the hill. And perhaps most worrisome with many top names in UFC betting set to become free agents in the near future UFC runs the risk of losing them to competitors like HDNET.

Tito Ortiz is one of the biggest names in the UFC and his contract will expire this year. Although he’s a bit past his prime his recent exposure on Donald Trump’s Apprentice has raised his value and name recognition. He’s likely to be a key acquisition target for the leagues competing with the UFC . Also several other top heavyweights in UFC 83 also will see their contracts come due in the near future and they will certainly be tempted to leave the world of UFC if offered enough money.

As every sports fan knows a sport is only as good as its players and UFC lack big names, nobody is going to be interested. So as good as UFC might be at the moment, the sport will have to work hard to maintain that spot will all the new competition coming on line this year.
