Wimbledon odds in recent years on the men’s side have seen Roger Federer as the winner. He has won the last five titles in Wimbledon betting. The 2008 Wimbledon will again have Federer the favorite on the men’s side but he is not the automatic lock he was in recent years.

Wimbledon in recent seasons have seen the Williams sisters dominate on the women’s side.  One or the other has won six of the last eight titles in Wimbledon . Venus won in 2000, 2001, 2005 and 2007 while Serena won in 2002 and 2003. Amelie Mauresmo won in 2006 while Mari Sharapova won in 2004. Sharapova is the favorite in 2008 Wimbledon with both of the Williams sister in the mix.

Wimbledon give you a couple of main betting options as you look to pick winners. You can go for the overall winner of the tournament at Wimbledon that range from even money to 100-1 or more or you can choose the matchups. Both of these options are excellent ways to get involved when wagering against Wimbledon betting odds. The advantage to betting a player to win the tournament is that you can sometimes find some good value on the Wimbledon betting odds board with players at 5-1 or higher that have a realistic chance to win.
