US Open Tennis Odds Women’s Favorites

April 5th, 2021 Tennis Betting

US Open tennis odds on the women’s side of the draw could be very interesting this year. Or it could be another Williams sisters exhibition where the rest of the US Open odds entrants are relegated to spectator status. Either way there are a handful of women capable of winning this year’s US Open tennis odds contest.

US Open tennis odds are already being posted on the online betting sites and the Williams sisters, Serena and Venus are dominating the odds. It’s no surprise considering the Williams’ history of success in the US Open odds and the way they seem to dominate in the Grand Slam competitions.

In what amounts to a mockery of the world rankings systems, neither Williams is ranked number one but there is little doubt as to who the best players are heading into the US Open tennis odds. Serena, ranked number two in the world will be the overwhelming US Open tennis odds favorite in 2009. Her sister Venus, ranked third on the Earth, will likely be a close two seed in the US Open tennis odds and the other US Open odds favorite to win. It has been an all-Williams final in the two previous Grand Slam events this year and most people believe it will be an all-Williams final at the US Open tennis as well.

World number one Dinara Safina will likely be a three or four seed in the US Open tennis tournament but she’s unlikely to be anyone’s favorite here. No matter how she places she’s all but assured of retaining her world number one ranking, but she’d love to claim a Grand Slam title in the US Open odds to try and cement her claim on the top spot in the rankings.

The Russians, in fact, will have a very strong contingent in US Open tennis this year. With five of the world’s top ten players Russia has very chance to take the US Open tennis odds title home. Apart from Safina, Elena Dementieva and Svetlana Kuznetsova both a have shot at trying to take down the Williams in the US Open odds. Ranked 4th and 5th in the world, respectively, they might have the best chance of anyone of beating the Americans in the US Open tennis .

A wild card here could be Maria Sharapova a former US Open tennis winner who had been sidelined by injuries and inconsistent in her play. However, she always seems to play her best tennis at the US Open tennis events and if anyone can dethrone the Williams sisters, it seems as though she might just be the lady.
