We will see what happens in the next six months.” Things have been troubling Nadal recently including trouble with his knees, his parents’ breakup, etc. Nadal is trying to get focused as he attempts to defend his Australian Open title.
Nadal took some time off and really has not played that great since the middle of last year. “We will see in a few months,” Nadal said about how he is playing, “But that’s tennis – you can’t be all the time one hundred percent. I am ready to try and win tournaments, but you never know what will happen. You have to work every day, every week, and wait your moment.”
It was thought in tennis betting that Nadal would supplant Federer as the top player in the world but that has not happened. Most who bet on tennis believed that Federer was reaching the end of his dominant run in tennis betting. Nadal was supposed to be the player that took over for Federer in tennis betting but that may not happen. Federer is now saying that he can dominant again this year in tennis and Nadal does not seem confident. Nadal has not seemed focused enough to be the best player in the world. It will be interesting to see how he starts the 2010 tennis season.
