2025 Australian Open Men’s Singles Top Contenders

In the open era, which began in 1969, the United States leads with 18 championships, followed by 11 for Australia and five for Germany.
The women’s side has shown much greater parity and unpredictability than the men’s portion. To show, The women have seen four different winners in the past four years and seven different champions in the past eight years.
Namely, Novak Djokovic has the most wins at this tournament in the Open Era. Next is Roger Federer, with six victories. Roy Emerson reigned supreme in the amateur era with five straight titles in the 1960s.
